EDIT: SO.... I guess some people say "it's because their music talks about how life sucks," that makes them emo? Well that can't be a reason, their music doesn't talk about how much life sucks; it just talks about life in general.

I do not think they are an emo band, plain and simple, their music has NEVER depressed me, and I think people just take their music the wrong way... people can be so immature and not think these days...

They be ignorant and just go on the fact that they think they're an emo band, don't even bother listening to their songs, and THEN they go and say the song meaning is emo when all they did was read it and think for like 2 seconds. TRUST ME I have gone through a couple of their songs (On a site where the whole point is to try and decipher song meanings) and it gave me new insight; like Crawling, some say it's about drug abuse, I say it's about some horrific mind-scarring incident the person had a long time ago, or it could in fact be drug abuse... Crawling is NOT an emo song, so freakin' shut up about it. You're looking at it in a negative aspect if you think that song is emo.
