We've all seen them; people who hate a particular ethnic group, for no rational reason: whether it be fear, dislike of a certain trait, or just plain disgust without good reasoning.

Well yes and no.

Racist, people who are anti-gays... they're all in the same broad group here. Both do the same thing, and a lot of times they are blinded by thinking they're "doing what's right."

To me it seems this gay marriage issue is just a repeat of civil rights for black people; people oppose something good for no freakin' reason and are too thickheaded to realize what they're doing is horribly wrong.
